Little Willows Early Learning Childcare Centre is a group Childcare Centre that offers a variety of Daycare/Preschool services and early childhood education programs for  children ranging in age from infant and toddler right up to 12 years old!

Out of School Care (when not at school) 6:30am-6:00pm
On School Days 6:30am-8:30am / 2:00pm-6:00pm

Our Programs

Preschool

Our Preschool Program is a 4 hour program and runs daily from 9am to 1pm.
We offer a Reggio Emilia inspired program that allows the children to explore and create and develop a lifelong love of learning. We also offer a phonics program, French, yoga, baking and much more! Our beautiful centre and outdoor play space speaks to the whimsical at heart and you will love it just as much as your child does!

Out of School Care

Our Out of School Care program is for children 5 years old through 12 years old and runs all year round. We service Alexander Robinson, and Golden Ears Elementary. Our Dewdney location has a large out of school care program. We have a beautiful on-site playground for the children to bike, climb, slide, explore and so much more! Our summer break, spring break and winter break program is a great balance of fun project based learning activities, water play and many field trips!

Infant Program

The Infant Program has 11 spaces a day with 3 full time teachers licensed with ECE and or ECE/IT. Our Infant program follows every child's different routine, so if they are still napping 2 or 3 times a day then that is what we will follow as well. Our beautiful natural environment is a wonderful place to spend the day where we strive to be an extension of home. We also have an on site playground catered to the babies and toddlers as outside play is a very important part of our day!

Toddler Program

Our Toddler Program has 12 spaces a day with 3 full time teachers licensed with ECE and or ECE/IT. Our Toddler Program is designed for the busy and active babies who are down to 1 nap a day! Our Reggio Emilia influenced environment is very inviting and helps promote every child's natural curiosity to learning. We also have an on site playground catered to the babies and toddlers as outside play is a very important part of our day!

3-5 Full Day Program
We have two 3-5year old full day classrooms and a multiage classroom.
Our 3-5A classroom is licensed for 25 children and has 4 full time staff. Our 3-5B program is licensed for 16 children and has 3 full time educators. Our multiage program is licensed for 8 children with 1 full time educator.

All teachers have their Early Childhood Education and/or Special Needs. Our large beautiful and natural rooms are designed with the sole purpose to inspire children! The space is lined with large windows along the front to have natural light fill the room all day and set up purposefully to provoke social gatherings among the children in the 3-5A room. Children form an understanding of themselves through interactions with others as well as having their thoughts and feelings valued. The environment is a teacher within itself and we want it to proudly say, "Explore! Create and have fun!"
